Mocha Protein Bar
This bar has a low GI. It is packed with protein, and healthy fats making it a great post/ pre-workout snack. Muscle damage occurs after intense training and protein is needed to facilitate the recovery of damaged muscle fibres as well as maximising protein synthesis. It is also great as a low-calorie on the go breakfast.
- 3 scoops of Blue Label Whey® (chocolate)
- 10 Dates (pitted)
- 1½ tbsp of Peanut Butter
- 1½ tbsp of Almond Butter
- 2 tbsp instant coffee in 100ml boiling water
- 1tbsp of Coconut Oil
- 50g of Flax Mix
- 1 heaped tbsp cocoa

Coffee mix: stir 2 tablespoons of instant coffee into 100ml of boiling water.
Add the dry ingredients and coffee mix into a mixing bowl then transfer it to a food processor add a small bit of water until you achieve your desired consistency.
